How Can You Not Believe in Free Will?
I think I'm kind of a believer that to some extent our personalities are just shaped by genetics and biology. It's possible that I just kind of got some genetic combination that causes me to be like very literalist about philosophy perhaps or really want to act on my beliefs. Perhaps even there's like evidence you can get you get genetic inheritance on moral values. So ultimately I don't really believe in moral responsibility for this reason because it's not clear how given that your actions are determined by things that are fully out of your control how you could be morally culpable for for them. Of course we should still punish people to create good incentives but this is kind of the utilitarian line on criminal justice
