The Benefits of Artificial Intelligence
The big debate is actually jobs. This is where we are trying to weigh the net benefit versus the net negative. So one of the arguments for things like chat, GPT and artificial intelligence is that you're going to be able to displace a lot of very labor intensive jobs. The challenge though, and a lot of lawmakers and Professor Gary Marcus put this out there today: How can you guarantee we'll actually be able to make up for the number of jobs lost?
