Senators sent a note ordering facebook c o mark uckerburg to quote, immediately discontinue the company's pilots of nove and end its work on the d m stable coin project. Facebook is apparently planning a complete rebrand to reflect zuckerberg's growing focus on the meter verse. Who knows what type of regulatory ire that will bring our way. Given that the leber announcement started the entire wave of regulatory consternation around stable coins and defi, it's probably worth keeping an eye on still.
