The Legacy of Slavery

I think both in the US but and more recently in Europe, we have been, you know, we've tried to forget. that slavery has left is racialized thinking. In terms of reparation it's striking that US Congress voted in 1988 and that we're in terms of World War II for a similar kind of symbolic reparation. France received from 80 million slaves between 1825 and 1950 as part of an agreement with its slave owners which was never applied.
