In all world history, in all cultures, as soon as you could shoot sperm, you were expected to be a man. So for my son, that that was a six year journey of liminal space. The whole phrasea lessence, i think it didn't come about until like 19 20 or something like that. I lived in a world where you took on responsibility young and got on with building your life. But we are overdoing the extended adolescence.
