When it comes to consciousness, who ultimately has the right to say what's real? Psychologists? Disillusioned French philosophers with way too much time on their hands? Leftist academia? Zen monks? Cave artists? Who? I want to talk for a moment about cave art. More about the consciousness of the people who discovered it, tens of thousands of years later. We assume that because we have an explanation for things, we don't need spiritual experience. And yet, we consider ourselves arbiters of the real.
