The Differences Between a Religious Upbringing and a Cult

There are similarities in the differences between a strict religious upbringing and a cult. The Hasidicamindu, I would argue, is not a cult, but shares some characteristics with cults. There isn't one man at the top who controls everything. No one has financial control on people, on families and households. So our target's not acult, but clearly there is an element of shunning those who leave. And something like brainwashing, where I'd go, I don't think there is a right to brainwash your children.
