Cognitive architecture in and of itself is not going to make predictions in any particular task. What you need to do is build a model of the task on top of the cognitive architecture. The problem sort of recurs if you develop a completely separate ad hoc model for every task then you know have you really yes you've gained something but you that's fallen somewhat short of Newell's goal.
