Google's Heart Model for Retention and Acquisition

Google's heart model looks at happiness, which is essentially maybe your net promoter score. Engagement again is the same, very similar to activation in the more except that it really focuses entirely on activity for Google. Adoption is basically retention. How long people keep using your product or how connected they stay with your product over a given time period. And then you've got task success, which again is really important for any kind of technology product.
