Trader: I'm not a very spiritual person in general, and i've been trying to figure out what it is about trators movies that i the click with me. One of my very favorite movies of the last ten years is first reformed. And obviously he's just, like, enormously concerned with his soul and what's going to happen to it. He has these fascinating collisions of western influence. Like his movies are often very violent at times. Theyre very sexual at times. This is the guy who made cat people and made american jiglo. But also seems like kind of a strange man who owns a lot of guns. So there's this conflagration of ideas
