The Importance of Taking a Break From Research and Development

I think as a developer I would often think of it in that those two that kind of work is like oh I can there's no way I can do that. That's you know that the research and development projects that go on and on for years and years before they see any fruit. So much of my work is about acquiring knowledge and understanding about how to do things. And it is the knowledge that I gain through the research phase that is allows me to build better versions of the thing that I'm ultimately trying to do. It's important to then sort of recognize that these are two different phases that these are different things in time box them.
