Dino kloskinsky and vernor herzog, or jimmy stewart and alfred hitchcock are examples of film makers who tend to lean in that direction with very neutral performances. You could imagine somebody going into it withh sort of very colishav idea of just, shoot, all we needed is neutral actors. We don't really need any of this emotion one way or another. Ye, you could almost look at that approach as a something that might be more common san like music videos and stuff, than in narrative films.
