Men have the same number of ribs as women do. There's not something missing from our rib cage, but there is something missing from man when he thinks he is all sufficient on his own. We need one another. So as adam realizes, i am incomplete without my help. Meet for me, without my corresponding equal strength and enabling power. And so i needand we need to become truly one. But for adam's realization, by the way, here when he says she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. This is metaphorical, not literal.
