The Importance of a First Time SVT Diagnosis

WPW is a purely ECG diagnosis. You don't know when the patients in SVT, you can't diagnose WPW. I would say that it would not be wrong to have a first time SVT diagnosis. In an older kid who can reliably tell you what their symptoms are, it would be reasonable to not treat them and just wait and watch.
