Lee's Life in the Depression

In 1934, she left America for Egypt. This is a kind of total redirection because there she doesn't really go for work. She kind of goes for love. It sounds like she constantly kind of wants to be one up from him. And they were like, it was the both ways. She died already. But I remember our first show of Lee's work in Washington at the Corcoran Gallery,. which is in the 90s. John, her brother, older brother, was still alive. And he still lived in Poughkeepsie. He didn't in the end because he decided she was getting too much attention.
