Hindenburg was an experimental german aircraft, with its german engines and oil ing disel type never tried. Its windows were composed of a german chemical advance called plexy glass. The hendenberg had even managed to solve one of the biggest problems of the day for airships - you couldn't smoke on board. Despite their efforts, we know how the story ended, and the hendenberg went up in flames. But why?
