Is There a Domestic Terrorism Federal Statute?
It is widely believed and said that we don't have a domestic terrorism federal statute. But it's also the case that some of the terrorism statutes entitled 18 actually do apply to domestic terrorism scenarios. The practical gap there's two guns and other forms of violence, like edged weapons are used in a vehicle that don't involve explosives. So domestic terrorism used in the most common method of attack woull be guns. That's not covered at the federal level, unless some other wayo proaching it happens to be triggered.
