You Just Don't Have Ambition

I remember my mother saying you just don't have ambition. And that's sort of a theme that stuck with me for many years later. I didn't see how staying at McDonald's would be good for me, even though my parents made me stay for eight months. In retrospect, it was the most humbling and one of the most informative jobs I've ever had. So maybe that was the lesson. Just sort of like, okay, you need to keep searching. This might be kind of hard.
