The Importance of Permanence in Tattoos
There has been a strong tradition in the Christian life of tattoos representing faith, representing conversions and things like that. The traditional place was on the inside of the wrist because when you did business, you couldn't hide that. So I think that it has to be done in a way that is carrying a grave significance. But if it's going to represent anything, it needs to be representing something of equal permanence or of projected equal permanence in your life.
