How Fashion Nova Scammed Black Designers
Fashion Nova has been accused of stealing from designers and more often than not, it's actually black designers who are the victims of theft. In 2018, a Los Angeles fashion company called Riot Society did in fact file a lawsuit against Fashion Nova for copyright infringement. A couple of years ago, the Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint against Fashion Nova regarding their review practices. According to the FTC, from 2015 to 2019, they posted all five-star and four-star reviews automatically, but left out hundreds of lower-star reviews.
