A year after the Aniskelen bombing, Gordon Wilson held kind of a public event where he invited publicly representatives of the IRA to come meet with him. Because of his faith in Jesus Christ, he announced that he forgave his daughter's murderers and he begged the IRA to stop the violence. "No words in more than 25 years of violence in Northern Ireland had such a powerful emotional impact," she says.
