The Commonwealth
The commonwealth was seen as part of the interlocking network of clubs that we were a member of. The queen, as you say, put special importance on it. She was always very enthusiastic about the commonwealth games which are being staged in birmingham this summer. And we've got a summit coming ruanda ar commonwealth heads of government summit later this month too. I think probably at some point in future, weeed going to need to have a non brit running the commonwealth if it's going to move into this century more successfully.
