I'm questioning whether or not fact that other senses are excluded, so that you can't talk about a beautiful cup of coffee. I think with mark's sculpture example, if you can feel your way to imagining the shape of sculptures, then you certainly can use touch to get to beauty. But i think, you know, the question is, why don't we say, oh, that was beautiful, except metaphorically, that was a beautiful bath? It fails a number of different requirements - it's just the experience we're interested in.
