There are way different ways to tell the stories of the Osage County murders right and we talked about this on a previous podcast but apparently the initial draft early draft of the script was more about the FBI's investigation. After consultations with people from the Osage tribe it was rewritten to shift the focus to the Native Americans and like what they experienced. I think that movie is also grappling a little bit with how to tell the story of this crime these crimes that were perpetrated on people and whose effect just in still being felt today.
