How to Write a React Program Without Creating Any Components

You can use React to create web pages that look just like the web pages you would create in plain HTML. The real power of React comes from what we call components. A component is actually a function that returns the special JavaScript objects that the render method understands. So for example, if the browsers don't have like a calendar HTML tag, I could create my own in React and then reference it in the JSX and it will show up on the screen.
