The 300 pound cost of living payment is going to all pensioners who are receiving a winter fuel payment. That will cover the vast, vast majority of pensioners. Mnointends to be pensioners thare may be in long term care or are living abroad that don't get the winterfuel payment. Now, it's called a one off booth this year, i think. But as liz said, what about next year? The history of winter field payments is that once they're put up, it's very hard to take it away. I is fair to say these high energy praices aren't going to go away any time soon.
