The Importance of Understanding the Problem Space

A lot of times the problem with the 90% story that you tell is the problem is not really understood down at granular level. The marketing people on a day to day basis they are so disconnected from what's it like to be a CMO, when you're making the decisions on messaging and targeting. So for this we need to understand what these guys need. In former times we used to run something like a use case workshop where we collected the requirements maybe a little bit like in the technical world where we tried to collect the requirements in a very structured way but as you said in product management we have something like discovery which goes on continuously. That to me is what I don't know
