Scott Archer, a Butcher's Son, Like Cardinal Wellesley
Hertfordshire man is father a bankrupt iam. Trained first in a coin dealing, which drew his attention to the beauties of profiles. Scott archer invented a collodion camera that essentially made the whole of the dark room portable. Unlike talbot, he was clearly not interested in income. He simply gave away the recipe for the collodian process and died a pauper.
