The Pros and Cons of Fugazi
Fugazi was controversial in the 80s when they started coming out. They were hyper-specific on a really niche type of music or something I think a lot of us can relate with. But thinking about Fugazi as being controversial within a scene somehow, people were dropping off because of that polishedness. In fact, they were probably just following their heart and using their experience in education and resources to build better art or progress their art.
