Digital Hush Harbors are Black internet spaces that existed in comment sections of blogs. They were built on the kind of interpersonal connections you'd formed by actually being in community with Black people in your actual life. But as Dr. Clark explained, a lot of digital Hush Harbor websites like College Club fell away after Facebook came on to the scene during the consolidation of social media.
