The metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social and economic connection. When you are using any VR rig, apparently you are in the metaverse. That metaverse became a household world when Facebook rebranded its corporate identity of meta in October 2021. "I feel like there's other versions of it for whatever other VR platforms there are," he says.
