Is There a Palace Coup in Ukraine?
Short: Putin has built a system part of the, you know, he watched what happened to Gorbachev back in 1990 when there was a coup against Gorbachev. And he has created a system where the different factions of the security services are so linked to him that it would be very, very difficult for them to get together and threaten him. This is why I'm very skeptical about a palace coup. It's not inconceivable, but it would be really difficult to organize. With any kind of mass popular movement that's completely out of the question as things are at the moment.
