IKEA kitchens are pretty underrated. You can plug in the dimensions of the potential house you're going to work on and they'll spit out the exact price right then. Do a quick and dirty estimate. If you don't want to live in that neighborhood, don't buy a house in that neighborhood. Just because it's cheap doesn't make it a good deal.
