The Golden Age of Science Fiction
We would use nuclear power to explore other planets and to reach the stars. This was the golden age vision of science fiction that really dominated through the 19 forties and 19 fifties. Now we look back on this, there is a ret futurist movement in science fiction called atom punk which i quite like. I have actually proposed as well nuk punk, as a slightly more aggressive version,. where we try and finker with what nuclear energy could have, or could still give us as a civilization. Why would we do that? Because we want to reach k on k one is the most important goal that the human civilization can achieve.
