The Translucency of the Trinidadian Blinds

I think there's definitely a kind of surreal element to that particular exhibition. The Trinidadian curtains and the kind of grills and ironwork and things, I think the way she phrased it was thinly veiled interiors to the exterior. So it's almost like kind of veiling, it is. Sometimes you find that there's a character holding up a sheet. But also for me, it reminds me of kranak paintings of those little bits of fabric,. That kind of makes the nakedness even more naked.
