Anxiety Disorders - What Is the Gold Standard?
Sally Kohn: I had about a year-long medical odyssey trying to figure out what was wrong with me. She says people often, it often takes years for them to actually be correctly diagnosed and to get the appropriate treatment. Kohn started cognitive behavioral therapy which is still even 25 years later, really sort of the gold standard. The other main treatment, she says, is also medication like Prozac or Lexapro.
