The Fed's Views on Core CPI Inflation
Next week, focus is going to be on CPI, but also consumer credit and NFIB small business optimism survey. Thursday will get PPI and initial claims; Friday the preliminary reading of University of MichiganConsumer sentiment. Most leading indicators for US inflation say that in the manufacturing sector, the US doesn't really have that much of a US inflation problem anymore.
