How to Share Your Story in a More Informal Setting
At this stage it's most import to focus on getting the content and the message right. When preparing for these conversations, do your home work and know your audience. Some good questions to ask about your audience include things like what do they already know about what i'm going to tell them? How does my story aline with their goals or objectives? What concerns might they have? There's nothing worse than being an a meeting or when you're presenting and you can tell that someone in the audience is completely unengaged,. Or worse yet, they're getting frustrated by what you're saying.
