Count De Greasy's Illusions
Count Edmund De Greasy was one of Europe's most successful stage magicians. In the early 19th century, he toured Europe and performed in front of august audiences. One of his signature illusions was something called the son of William Tell. It was essentially a twist on the old bullet catch routine. But as Houdin would learn, De Greasy's story was ultimately tragic.
