Van Gogh's Cypress Tree
Van Gogh painted this at a window with a bunch of iron bars. He is fully just reinventing what he's looking at. Apparently the clearest sign is that Cypress tree in the foreground. It would take massive wind to get these trees moving the way they are where they do kind of look like hair or something else that would make more sense. I'll have a picture linked of what the view is because it's not the painting.
