Confidential transactions blinds the amount and the asset, so you don't know if youre sending an end of tea on liquid. Confidential transactions are like kind of a step below charming e cash intrea privacy. Charming e cash has custodia risk, which is reduced by the federation element that ariceron added to charming e cash but it has better privacy guarantees than confidential transactions.
