The Pathologizing of Death and Dying

I think it's very important that we encourage our young people to talk about death and dying, particularly teenagers. And I worry that we're making them, we're pathologizing conversations that young people want to have with us. There's a huge distinction between thinking about death and thinking about your own death or thinking about self-harm. It's different than saying I'm thinking aboutdeath and dying.
