Is There Anything That Is Not Interesting When I'm Awake?

The purpose of the exercise is to say something about the practice of dream interpretation, and thus the structure of the human mind. Even when there's nothing apparently wrong, if you drill into yourself this way, you're going to find something that being able to bring it to the surface would be helpful. But i think a lot of the point is that there are unconscious desires that actually we would reject when we are awake. And we might even say, that is not interesting at all. I don't care about that. So he just says, here's just the dream from last night.
