I Like Juliet's Father

I think Juliet's father is actually a good portrait of a bad father in that he wants to give her the freedom to do it. And then when she does something that he doesn't like, he blows up and says, no, no, we're going to annul the crap out of that. He becomes a authoritarian, but only after he's pushed. You can imagine all kinds of situations like that were happening here and now,. Just as they happen to this day. So I like this play. It's called Jacob Mitzel. Man, these things start out as like little formulas that actually make sense and can bring along a new audience and then they just turn into crap.
