The Role of Paul in the Rise of Christ
John in Pittsburgh says he has a problem with the idea of Paul. Jesus trained and then charged the twelve apostles to go out and spread the word. But just after his death and resurrection, he appeared before an unrelated fellow. It does seem odd but God's world is full of oddities that we wouldn't have done like that. And so I want to say perhaps with a big P for the perhaps that what God was doing was emphasizing the radicalness of the new thing that was happening.
