Money wasn't a regular topic of conversation around the dinner table when you were growing up. Your dad used to keep a very tight ledger when it came to pocket money. We would gain positive work for good behaviors and we definitely were fined for bad behaviour as well. But i think an education process around the value of money and work and that kind of thing was certainly ingrained into us from from a young age. Newl it with every guess that we have on the show.
