How Close Was Jesus to the Father?

In a culture like ours, it's all about elevating the individual in all of the romantic ways that you possibly can. To look at Jesus bloodied on the cross and go, that's actually what I deserve is repugnant. God opposes the proud. He gives grace to the humble. And we see in the New Testament, time and time again, that someone is ignited with a certain power from the Holy Spirit for a specific purpose. We even see it with Jesus himself.
