How to Train AI Networks to Pick Hip Fractures

I had no experience of X-rays and showed them images of hips that were either broken or not broken. We didn't tell them anything about what a broken hip looks like. Within half an hour of training, they were as good as MSK consultant radiologists in picking hip fractures off a single AP view. Now obviously they don't know how to pick impingement or a ewing sarcoma or pagelets disease but this one task can be taught really easily. And in fact, it's very similar to how we train AI networks. Absolutely.
