Are You Unknowingly Disabled?

In 19 90, when the americans with disabilities act gave cab cuts and the right to accessible public spaces, a lot of churches fought against that. Very few disabled people are postors or elders or put into positions of leadership. And i think even just the way that we ther our liturgies, our prayers, our songs, all of those feature a lot of ablest language as well. I've had people at churches give me a poem called, no wheel chairs in heaven, just strangers at churches that i've been a part of. It's this idea of we need to be grateful to be included at all.
