Muriel Spark: A Woman Writer's Life and Career

The Ormaloo Clark is the first story that Muriel Spark ever published in The New Yorker. She was 42 when it came out, and she hadn't been trying for very long. "She had a very interesting life and career," says author Joe Schulder. His most recent novel, The Dog, was also published in September.
